Interview Process

Interview Process

The interview and selection process for new employees is very thorough and unique at Pace Global, and critical to the success of our hiring and recruiting practice. Hiring managers use this process to qualify candidates with the experience and strength in core competencies to be successful at Pace Global. Our core competencies, which are necessary to be successful at any level of position at Pace Global, include:

  • Problem Solving Aptitude
  • Personality
  • Relevant Experience
  • Communication Skills

Candidates will perform each of the following interview types during their interview day at Pace Global:

Case Interview

For the case interview, the candidate is given a situation, problem, or challenge and asked to discuss an approach to resolution or mitigation.

Panel Interview

The panel interview is conducted by several interviewers and the candidate is asked to prepare a 10-15 minute presentation on a topic of their choice. Following the presentation, the interviewers will ask follow up questions about the topic.

Behavioral Interview

Behavioral interviewing is a technique in which questions asked assist in making predictions about a candidate’s future success based on actual past behaviors - instead of being based on responses to hypothetical questions. Candidates must describe in detail a particular event, project, or experience, how they dealt with the situation, and what the outcome was.

Content/Technical Interview

The content/technical interview is used to explore the candidate’s past experience and knowledge of the industry.

Fit Interview

The right fit in an organization is a key factor to maintaining successful performance and job satisfaction in the organization. The fit interview helps reveal if the candidate will function effectively and successfully in the position and Pace Global’s environment. 

Writing Test

Each candidate will be given a writing test administered by Human Resources.
