To support our NorthSTAR^TM Advisory Services, Pace Global developed the NorthSTAR^TM system, an integrated system that seamlessly links corporate planning, performance management and enterprise risk management support capabilities.

NorthSTAR^TM includes a comprehensive scenario-based modeling tool developed by Pace Global aimed at detailed and broad analysis of a company’s strategic paths, and evaluated against a number of comprehensive macroeconomic and energy markets scenarios and stochastic risk modeling. This tool allows our clients to better assess specific strategic initiatives and major investment projects in the context of the company’s current position and expected market and regulatory trends.  The NorthSTAR^TM system provides a flexible platform to incorporate and assess additional alternatives as new opportunities arise or as priorities shift.

Planning information is transferred by the NorthSTAR^TM system to an ongoing performance management and enterprise risk management tool, in order to enable executives to monitor progress against strategic plans and budgets and to better understand the risks of achieving plan goals and budgets.  NorthSTAR^TM provides our clients with a robust tool to catalogue commodity and other specific risks identified by the executives and business leaders throughout the company.  NorthSTAR^TM will track and assess quantifiable risks (i.e. parametric, contingent, and regulatory/compliance risks) as well as soft risks that cannot be easily quantified.  Through Pace Global’s proprietary risk analysis engine, the full catalogue of company-specific risks is analyzed on both an individual and consolidated basis.
