Title: Natural Gas and Power Procurement for European Facilities

Key Objective:  A multi-site aluminum company needed to procure electric power and natural gas for more than 55 facilities throughout Europe.

Our Role in Project:
Pace Global handled the procurement of electric power and natural gas for the client’s facilities throughout Europe.  Where possible, contracts were competitively bid. In other areas where regulated prices applied, Pace Global attempted to minimize costs within the contract terms. Pace Global’s role included collection and compiling of all historical data, preparation of the Request for Proposals, reviewing bids and the negotiation of the final supply contracts. Pace Global was also responsible for establishing Hedging Policies and executing hedges on behalf of the client in order to mitigate risk from price volatility. Finally, Pace Global administered the contracts through their full terms and reviewed invoices to ensure proper billing.
