GPCM®

Pace Global utilizes the Gas Pipeline Competition Model (GPCM) to conduct analysis of natural gas economics in North America. GPCM, developed and updated by RBAC, Inc., is a combination software-database system that allows us to quantitatively analyze the complex interactions among producers, pipelines, storage facilities, gas marketers, and consumers in the highly integrated North American natural gas industry. The primary output of GPCM is natural gas price forecasts and gas trading hub basis differentials to the Henry Hub, but has a range of other outputs including pipeline usage, transportation zone pricing customer receipts, and storage balances.

Pace Global maintains its proprietary view of North America supply, demand and infrastructure based upon detailed research of the natural gas markets, fundamental analysis, and our daily involvement with the market through our risk management, energy procurement, infrastructure development and market advisory activities. This, combined with the cumulative knowledge and experience of our expert team, results in a valuable quantitative tool available to support our market advisory engagements.
