Message from the CEO

MESSAGE FROM THE CEO

"Our energy professionals' array of knowledge, skills, and experience coupled with our corporate spirit of collaboration ignites a pre-eminent value proposition for all client service offerings."

The achievement of ambitious growth targets in a manner that is sustainable in the highly-competitive realm of energy consulting requires strong leadership and interdependence among individuals within the organization. The Leadership Acceleration Program ("LEAP") at Pace was designed as an incubator to bring out these qualities in existing employees. Participants are chosen through a rigorous nomination process across all practice areas within the company. LEAP participants are highly-motivated and have demonstrated both leadership potential and dedication to growing the company as the program requires a strong level of personal commitment and vision to yield significant growth for both the participant and Pace.

Participation in LEAP opens numerous avenues to personal growth and career enhancement within Pace that underscore the mutual investment by both the company and the employee in the program:

  • A focused training program develops key leadership capabilities using a 3600 review process, including a seminar conducted at the Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business.
  • A set of courses to improve both fundamental technical skills and enhanced leadership ability and strategic thinking. It includes training in writing, presenting, and corporate accounting in a consulting environment. It also includes workshops in Effective Leadership, Effective Dialogue, and Management.
  • A mentoring program and clear channels of communication with senior management provides a forum for relating the leadership program to career growth at Pace.
  • An assignment to each group of LEAP participants requires that participants work collaboratively on a real corporate initiative and become actively involved in the management of the company.
  • An open dialog with senior management regarding the company's direction offers insights on how to improve Pace.
  • A greater level of camaraderie and trust with other LEAP participants enhances the objective of greater interdependence within the company.
