Throughout his career, Mr. James has assisted energy-intensive industry and energy asset owners and developers in achieving desired results under changing market conditions. He is well-versed in worldwide markets, having directed projects on six continents. His industrial work includes enterprise-wide energy strategies such as strategic contracting, energy management, cogeneration, utilities optimization, energy efficiency, and carbon management. Mr. James has also led generation project development, owner’s engineering, energy and asset management activities for industrial, utilities, and private power clients. He is familiar with central, distributed, and clean energy generation technologies. Mr. James holds B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering and Materials Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
