An oil and gas company needed a commercial advisor to lead negotiations of an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for 800 MW combined cycle plant.

Our Role:
Pace Global was retained and successfully negotiate the terms of the EPC contract. Pace Global work closely with the client’s project team to define a selection and negotiation process that maintained competitive pressure on the EPC contractors, thus providing maximum leverage to the client. Further, Pace Global advised on the structuring of commercial terms that were financeable, allocated risk appropriately, and negotiated pricing that represented best available market pricing and was commercially attractive to the client.
